Over the past 10 months (2021), I ‘ve had the opportunity to work directly with Steve, CEO of The Gypsy Nurse. This project involved a UX assessment of The Gypsy Nurse’s website and research to understand the travel nurse’s emerging needs. Based on these insights, we planned, implemented and evaluated new web site development initiatives, incorporating best practices and processes for engaging users and delivering a better experience on TheGypsyNurse.com platform. Working closely with Steve on this large, multi-faceted project, I found Steve to be highly engaged, hands-on and focused on driving key business metrics. Throughout the project, Steve demonstrated strong problem solving and project management skills, tackling issues on the technology and marketing fronts, while exhibiting full attention to detail. I found Steve to be very collaborative, with strong communication and team leadership skills. I would welcome an opportunity to work with Steve again in a similar capacity.
I worked with Steve when he was building the Allaire Certification program. Steve was adept at translating vision into a well organized operational program. His leaderships skills foster teamwork and motivates to achieve program goals. He has highly effective communication skills with supporting administration skills that always gets the job done no matter the obstacles that confront a team. Working with Steve is enjoyable and fun since he never takes himself seriously but only the work that needs to be done supported with good humor. Steve’s analysis of issues, sound judgement, innovation and strategic thinking is an asset all organizations seriously need.
Steve did an excellent job when I started Broadreach getting our website built and setting up our initial outreach. He’s a great marketer with excellent technical skills and a clear, no-nonsense communication style. He delivers on time and is a hard worker. I would highly recommend him.
